By accessing or using mentalspacetherapy.com and our clinical services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.

MentalSpace Therapy provides online therapy and coaching:

• Therapy is regulated, licensed clinical care available only to clients located in Georgia at the time of session.
• Coaching is non-clinical professional development and is available to clients across the U.S. and internationally.

This site is for general information and intake; using it does not establish a clinical relationship. A clinical relationship begins only after we've completed intake and you've had your first session.

MentalSpace Therapy is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in crisis, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). See our Emergency Resources page.

You must be 18 or older to enter into a service agreement with us directly. Minors aged 12–17 may receive teen therapy with parental or legal-guardian consent. Therapy clients must be located in Georgia during sessions; coaching has no geographic limitation.

Current pricing is published on our pricing page and disclosed during intake. You agree to:

• Pay all fees for services rendered, whether covered by insurance or out-of-pocket.
• Pay any portion not covered by insurance (copays, deductibles, denied claims).
• Provide accurate insurance information; you are responsible for fees if benefits information you provide is incorrect.
• Pay late-cancellation fees (under 24 hours) and no-show fees, as disclosed at intake.

Payment is collected through our HIPAA-compliant EHR after intake. We do not collect payment information through this website.

You may reschedule or cancel sessions up to 24 hours in advance through the client portal at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are subject to the fees disclosed at intake. Repeated late cancellations may result in termination of services.

Either party may end the clinical relationship. We may terminate services for non-payment, repeated missed sessions, dangerous or threatening behavior toward staff, fraudulent insurance use, or when we determine our services no longer meet your clinical needs. We provide referrals when ending services for clinical reasons.

Content on this site (text, images, design, code) is owned by MentalSpace Therapy or licensed for our use. You may not copy, distribute, or republish material without permission. The MentalSpace Therapy name and logo are protected marks.

If you submit feedback, testimonials, or other content through this site, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for marketing — but only after you specifically opt in to public use. We never use clinical content for marketing.

Information on this site is for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your specific situation. We make no guarantees about clinical outcomes — therapy is a collaborative process and results vary.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MentalSpace Therapy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site shall not exceed $100. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
