One-on-one therapy
Therapy that meets you where you are.
Private, online sessions with a licensed Georgia clinician. We match you to a therapist who fits — not just one who's available — and most clients have a first session within a week.
What this looks like
What individual therapy looks like with us.
Sessions are 50 minutes, fully online, and built around what's actually going on in your life — not a generic protocol. Your therapist gets to know you over the first few sessions, you build a working plan together, and adjustments happen as your goals shift. There are no time-locked treatment lengths and no minimum commitments. Some clients work with us for a few months, others for a few years. Both are fine.

Right fit when…
This is the right fit if you're navigating…
- Anxiety, panic, or chronic worry that's affecting your sleep, work, or relationships
- Depression — the heavy kind that's lasted weeks, months, or longer
- Trauma or PTSD, including older experiences that are surfacing now
- Major life transitions — divorce, grief, career change, becoming a parent
- Self-worth, perfectionism, or feeling stuck in patterns you can see but can't break
- Stress and burnout that conventional self-care isn't touching
- Relationship dynamics you want to work on independently before bringing in a partner

What we do differently
“We don't run a treatment protocol off a script. The first three sessions are about you — what you're carrying, what you've already tried, and what 'better' would actually look like.”
— MentalSpace Therapy clinical philosophy
How we work
Evidence-based, never one-size-fits-all.
Your therapist draws from the modalities that fit your goals — explained plainly, never as jargon.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identify the thought patterns driving how you feel and act, then practice replacing them with ones that serve you better.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Build skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and the kind of relationships you want — pulled from work originally for high-intensity emotions.
EMDR for trauma
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing helps your brain process old traumatic memories so they stop hijacking the present.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Loosen the grip of unhelpful thoughts, clarify your values, and act on them — even when feelings haven't fully caught up.
Person-centered, attachment-aware
The relationship between you and your therapist is itself part of the work. We move at your pace and stay attuned to how you actually feel in session.
Mindfulness & somatic approaches
Practices that connect mind and body — breath, grounding, attention — to interrupt anxiety loops and bring you out of activation.
