Coaching, not therapy
When the question isn't 'what's wrong' — it's 'what's next'.
Coaching is forward-looking and goal-driven: career pivots, leadership challenges, life transitions you want to navigate intentionally. No clinical diagnosis required, and you're paired with a coach trained for the specific terrain you're crossing.
What this looks like
What coaching actually is — and isn't.
Coaching is a working partnership focused on outcomes, not on processing the past. We hold you accountable to commitments you make, ask better questions than you've been asking yourself, and help you turn vague intentions into specific moves. Coaching does not treat mental health conditions — if what you need is therapy, we'll tell you and help you get to the right service. Some clients use coaching alongside therapy with different clinicians; that's fine and often productive.

Right fit when…
Coaching is the right call when you're…
- Considering a career pivot but stuck in analysis paralysis
- Newly promoted into a leadership role and feeling underprepared
- Building a business and need a sounding board with structure
- Navigating a major life transition — divorce-recovery, empty-nest, retirement, relocation
- High-achieving but unsatisfied, and unsure why
- Trying to break a pattern of self-sabotage around goals you keep setting
- Looking for accountability that's serious without being punitive

What we do differently
“Coaching with us is sprint-structured — not open-ended. You'll know within 90 days whether it worked, and you'll have the receipts to prove it.”
— MentalSpace Therapy coaching program
How we work
Coaching styles tailored to where you are.
We don't run one curriculum. Your coach blends models based on what fits your situation.
ICF-credentialed coaching
Most of our coaches hold ACC, PCC, or MCC credentials from the International Coach Federation — a rigorous standard for coaching skill, ethics, and supervision.
Solution-focused
We spend less time analyzing why you're stuck and more time on what 'unstuck' looks like and what would move you toward it next week.
Strengths-based
Built on what you already do well — leveraging existing strengths often gets faster traction than trying to fix weaknesses head-on.
Executive & leadership coaching
For mid-career and senior leaders. Stakeholder feedback (360s when useful), influence and presence work, navigating org politics with integrity.
Career-transition coaching
Structured for the specific friction of changing what you do for work — values clarification, narrative crafting, network mobilization, decision pressure.
Accountability cadence
Between-session check-ins, written reflections, or stretch commitments — calibrated to how you actually keep momentum.
What to expect
From discovery to results.

Discovery call
Free 20-minute conversation to scope what you want and check fit. We're honest if therapy is what you actually need; we won't sell you coaching that won't help.

Goal contract
First two sessions clarify outcomes, success measures, and a working agreement: cadence, between-session work, how we'll know it's working.

Sprints
Coaching engagements typically run in 90-day or 6-month sprints. We measure forward progress and adjust at sprint boundaries — not drift indefinitely.

Closure or renewal
At the end of each sprint, you decide: closure, renewal, or graduation to maintenance. Most clients do one to two sprints and graduate.
Two ways to pay
Coaching pricing differs from therapy.
Coaching is not a medical service — insurance does not apply. We offer subscription and per-session pricing.
- Subscription — $49.95 / week with weekly session + messaging
- Per-session — $175–250 depending on coach credential
- Sprint packages — 12 sessions over 12 weeks at a discounted rate
